Hermes Backup ("we", "us") operates an automated backup service. This policy explains what personal data is handled and how.
We process the configuration you provide for your backup scope (protected directories and schedule), and the content of the archives created from them. Archives are encrypted and stored in your own Google Drive account.
Data is used solely to create, store, verify, and restore your backups. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Backups are encrypted using AES-256 and uploaded to the Google Drive location you authorize. Access to the service is limited to the authorized account owner.
Retention follows your configured backup schedule (e.g. daily slots). You may disable or cancel the service at any time.
